Motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki KX250F complete with a new feature. This feature has previously been adopted by his brother KX450F.
As reported by autoevolution, Tuesday (25/06/2013) Japanese motocross has now adopted the Launch Control feature. To enable this feature, simply press the red button located on the left handlebar.
To note, the Launch Control feature serves to slightly inhibit ignition that allows the engine to provide more power to turn the wheels so it is more responsive when after the start.
This feature will return a non-activated when the driver shifts the transmission into third gear. Engine performance will return to the initial settings and run normally.
Launch Control feature is more widely used by motorcycle manufacturers for racing purposes. This feature is able to reduce the slip at the rear wheels when the engine rev high at the beginning of the race.
Furthermore, Kawasaki also revised some other parts such as transmission systems are now offering a smoother gearshift and application of SFF Showa suspension to reduce weight and better suspension adjustment.
